Perspective Pictures is a Crowdfunding video agency who has supported over 50 campaigns to raise over £50m on Crowdcube and Seedrs with a 100% success rate to date. We spoke with Managing Director, Rupert Rixon to find out more.

Could you tell us more about Perspective Pictures?


Perspective Pictures is a digital-first video agency dedicated to making the best online content. We launched over 5 years ago and have since grown our team to over 20, offering social ads, documentaries, animations, and more. Not only have we produced the campaign videos for the likes of allplants and Seedrs but have also successfully launched two of our own campaigns on Seedrs.

Do you have an ideal client?


We’ve had experience working with a range of different campaigns on Crowdcube and Seedrs from Food & Beverage to Insurtech with raises from £150k all the way up to £5m+.

Could you tell us about a recent campaign you supported?


We recently worked with Hiro who successfully raised over £2m on Seedrs – reaching their target in just 14 minutes.

What would be your top equity crowdfunding tips?


I would say it’s important to think about your own network first. Be sure to engage your friends, family and customers and get them excited about your raise. If you can create strong momentum from this audience, you should have no problems converting investors on the platform.

With regards to the campaign video – think about it as more of a trailer for the movie than a full movie, that’s what all your campaign materials are for. Keep it as streamlined/succinct as possible and focus on reaching as many investors as possible. The rest of your campaign, including the discussion forum and your additional documents (pitch deck, financials) is where you should focus on convert invertors.
